Waterproof. Insulated. Built for the weekend.
Specs for the gear nerds
-
The Samos HEX is a waterproof, insulated roll-top bag built for people who don’t sit still. It’s designed to move seamlessly from tailgates to trails, festivals to commutes, keeping your gear dry, your drinks cold, and your weekend wide open.
-
Very. HEX is constructed from TPU dual-coated 600D polyester, making it fully waterproof, abrasion-resistant, and built to take a beating. The exterior is sandblasted for a grippy texture, so it’s easy to handle even when wet, muddy, or mid-chaos. This is gear made to be used, not babied.
-
Absolutely. The molded, breathable back panel is soft to the touch and designed for airflow, whether you’re wearing a shirt or not (festival days and water sports, we see you). It’s comfortable against bare skin and supportive enough for long days on your feet.
-
The front pocket uses a TruZIP® waterproof zipper, the same style trusted in high-end dry gear. It creates a sealed, submersible-ready closure that keeps water out and valuables safe. It’s sized to fit your phone, keys, wallet, plus your friend’s phone, keys, and wallet, and then some.
-
Yes! This is where HEX really shines.
The roll-top main pouch is lined with highly insulative, impact-absorbing foam, capable of holding ice for over 72 hours. It works just as well keeping drinks cold as it does keeping gear dry. With roughly 11 liters of capacity, it’ll hold a 12-pack of 12oz cans, or swap the ice for a laptop and daily essentials when commuting. There’s also a hidden hydration bladder pocket in the back panel that fits a 1–2 liter water bladder, with handy loops on the backpack straps to route a drinking tube for easy access on the move.
-
Despite all that capability, the HEX weighs just 1.2kg (2 lbs 10 oz). It features MOLLE-style mounting points on the front and backpack straps, side handles for grab-and-go carrying or clipping extra gear, and an adjustable sternum strap for stability.
The roll-top can clip down for a compact profile or stay extended to create an additional carry handle — because flexibility matters.
