Samos didn’t start in a boardroom. It started at Turn 3 in the infield of the Indianapolis 500, surrounded by tailgates, coolers, and gear that was either too bulky, too leaky, or just plain in the way.

We kept asking the same question: why does great gear still feel like a compromise?
